Aller Aqua has a wide range of fish feed for freshwater and saltwater fish – for example fish feed for carp, catfish, rainbow trout, cod og turbot, ell, rockfish, salmon, seabass, seabream and sturgeon.
All our fish feed products are produces by means of extrusion. The fish feed must cover the basic metabolism of the fish and ensure healthy growth. In order to meet these requirements the fish feed composition must meet all needs for nutrients, vitamins and minerals. Aller Aqua fish feed meets all these requirements and has been adapted to various sizes of fish and feeding strategies.
The feed has been developed in cooperation with customers and undergoes continuous tests, in selected test stations and fish farms.
Fish feed from Aller Aqua are produced at our factories in Denmark, Poland and Germany.
3RD INTERNATIONAL STURGEON CONFERENCE

International Sturgeon Conference organized by Aller Aqua has evolved into a high level event for sturgeon farmers from not only Europe. This year on 25th November in Warsaw over 150 participants: sturgeon farmers, universities bodies and institutions from 12 countries attended this event.
That means growing demand for exchange of information and experience about sturgeon and caviar in terms of technology as well as market prospects.
The conference program is designed to match the actual problems and needs of this sector. Following lectures: Methods of sex determination and caviar harvesting (R. Kolman), World sturgeon market (P. Bronzi), Genetics and selection - practical application in sturgeon aquaculture (N. S. Mugue), Breeding experiences in Agroittica Lombarda – the biggest sturgeon farm in Europe
(M. Pazzaglia), A new approach to sturgeon feeding (J. E. Zerrahn), Sturgeon farming in China (A. Pyc); provoked vivid discussion during coffee breaks, lunch time and afterwards. Lectures were conducted by world-class speakers.
“It is an honour for Aller Aqua to contribute to development of such prestigeous aquaculture sector as sturgeon farming.” said Hans Erik Bylling “We are aware of it’s importance and want to be an integral part of it.” There was a great possibility to exchange information, experience and contacts in an informal way also. Jens Erik Zerrahn, the Director of Aller Aqua R&D Department has shared the experience and recent results of his findings concerning sturgeon feeding. “It is a novel approach meeting special requirements of those amazing fish species” said Jens Erik Zerrahn when talking about Aller Metabolica - new product tailored to the needs of sturgeon breeding.
The Sturgeon Conference was organized by Aller Aqua under the auspices of World Sturgeon Conservation Society, Polish Inland Fisheries Institute and Polish Fish Industry Magazine media patronage.
