Full Traceability

The high food safety and traceability standards demanded by the modern consumer is one of the cornerstones of Aller Aqua’s quality control. All registration takes place to meet these demands and the Development Department continuously upgrades our control procedures. Aller Aqua has developed its own quality certificate called Certificate of Quality and Compliance.

Environment

At Aller Aqua, we are committed to meeting a number of environmental targets, complying with strict product and manufacturing standards. The 1989 Danish Act on the Protection of the Marine Environment sets strict standards for feed intended for the Danish market. Danish legislation stipulates that the feed conversion rate of grower feed must not exceed 1.0. At the same time, 82 per cent of the feed must be digestible, and there are low maximum limits for phosphorus and nitrogen.

The know-how we have gained from developing feed for Danish aquaculture means that we can offer feed for several species that requires less than 1 kg of feed to produce 1 kg fish. This knowledge is made available to farmers in countries that have tightened their environmental regulations. Quality Control

The objective of quality control is to make sure that our products meet:

• Our customers' expectations in terms of feed value and physical form

• Official food safety requirements

On-site quality control by the factories, quality-conscious employees and monitoring by the public authorities ensure that Aller Aqua always complies with the comprehensive regulations for feed production.

Nutritional value

The feed recipes are tested after every production. The outgoing weight of the mixtures is checked, and the pellets undergo quality analysis before the feed is released for sale.
