Spotlight on Africa: unlocking growth for business and development

Aller aqua have been invited to speak at the conference which is part of the Africa week first week of September.

Aller Aqua has been invited to speak at the conference focussing on the questions of “how EU and Africa can speed up the integration in trade and business whilst contributing to the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals?” and “how is Denmark and key Danish companies actively pursuing this agenda?”.

The conference has been arranged by Danish Shipping and the Danish Agriculture & Food Council, and is part of Africa Week, which takes place in the first week of September.

Henrik T. Halken, Group Vice President (CPO/CCO) will explain how aquaculture is a sustainable, productive, and resource-efficient way of producing food, and how we operate in Africa to achieve healthy fish for the growing population, as part of the food supply on the continent.

The conference will be attended by, amongst others, Minister for Development Cooperation in Denmark, Ulla Tørnæs; Arne H. Steffensen, Director General in Danish Shipping and Karen Hækkerup, CEO in the Danish Agriculture & Food Council. Other companies represented include AP Møller-Mærsk and Arla.

The conference takes place on the 6th of September 2017 at the Danish Agriculture & Food Council.
