Ministerial visit from the Emirates

”We obviously feel honoured to receive this visit and for the interest that the minister has shown our company during the visit today,” explains Henrik Halken, Group Vice President for Aller Aqua Group. 

”The Emirates clearly wish to increase their supply levels of foodstuffs in the coming years, and it is only natural to look to aquaculture, which is one of the most sustainable solutions for producing good and healthy food products. 

In 2016 and 2017 Aller Aqua won the price for best new feed for aquaculture in the Middle Eastern market. Both times the prize was awarded in Dubai. 

The minister was particularly interested in our ability to produce environmentally friendly fish feed, and the opportunities for growth it creates for the countries we cooperate with. These were amongst the things we discussed at the meeting, as well as the plans for expansion of aquaculture in the Emirates and our possibilities to contribute.” 

Besides the minister and her assitant, the meeting comprised both Hans Erik Bylling, Group CEO, and Henrik Halken, Group Vice President.
