Our new research assistant scored top grades

Lectures at schools in Hannover and Hildesheim paired with practical work at Aller Aqua Research, has enabled Torben to graduate the fish farming course as the best student in Northern Germany in 2016, 1 year faster than calculated.

Starting as an apprentice it was Torben’s aim to graduate with an excellent degree, gain working experience as well as a deep knowledge of the trade. We are happy to report that Torben has excelled in achieving these goals.

Torben has now been employed as a research assistant at Aller Aqua Research, supporting the existing staff in the running and continuous growth of the research center.

At the same time we are starting up Paul Neumann as our new apprentice, and look forward to the cooperation for the next 3 years. Paul will, just like Torben, combine theoretical studies with the practical experience at the research center, as well as hands-on training at carp and trout farms in Poland and Germany.
