Dr Nagel presents at the 5th Swiss Fish Forum
The topic for the presentation was the challenges facing R&D when developing and delivering optimal fish feed to diverse markets.
Our Research Manager from Aller Aqua Research, Dr Florian Nagel, was recently invited to give a presentation at the 5th Swiss Fish Forum. The forum was held at the IUNR (Institute for Ecology and Natural Resources) in Lindau, Switzerland.
The topic for the presentation was the challenges facing R&D when developing and delivering optimal fish feed to diverse markets. In the presentation Dr Nagel further outlined the fast growth Aller Aqua is experiencing, and pinpointing the company’s key markets in Europe, Asia and Africa.
From Aller Aqua our German Sales Consultant Christian Pflanzer took part. Their focus in Switzerland is predominantly on trout, perch and pike perch, produced in recirculation aquaculture systems.
All in all approximately 150 specialists, such as university representatives, authorities, scientists, farmers, RAS manufacturers and other experts, participated in the forum. The programme included topics such as fish feed, organic feed, fish disease, RAS and environmental conditions.
