SuperSmolt® Feed Only CH Seminar

On Oct 20th, Aller Aqua Qingdao and STIM Norway jointly held “SuperSmolt® Feed Only CH Seminar” at the Aller Aqua Qingdao factory in China.

Chinese customers from Shandong Far-sea Green Farming, Jinghai Fisheries, Guoxin Oriental RAS Farming, and Qicai Seed Technology, and professors from Ocean University of China and Qingdao Agricultural University attended the seminar respectively.

Starting from the physiological mechanism of salmonids, Mr. Carl Erik Arnesen, CEO of STIM, gave a comprehensive introduction to the performance advantages of SuperSmolt® Feed Only CH and the smoltification instruction under different culturing environments and conditions. Meanwhile, he answered the questions that are generally concerned by Chinese customers. Dr. Wang Xiaojie, Sales Director of Aller Aqua Qingdao, translated and assisted in the briefing at the seminar.

In Norway, SuperSmolt® Feed Only has been introduced since 2006. At present, about 15% of the total annual salmonids farming in Norway use SuperSmolt® Feed Only for smotification. And this proportion is increasing year by year. Several major salmon farming giants in Norway, such as MOWI, LEROY, and GRIEG, are all using SuperSmolt® Feed Only.

In the end, Mr. Carl Erik Arnesen shared a video of a fishery processing ship operating in Norway with the guests, briefly introducing the processing trend of Norwegian salmons.
