40 years of fish feed

“It is hard to believe that it has been 40 years. Initially producing fish feed was not part of our core business, but it quickly took off and became an independent business area. When we decided to dedicate our time solely to producing fish feed, the business started to grow rather quickly. It has been an eventful and interesting journey, and it has not been without obstacles,” Explains Hans Erik and continues “I like going to work every day. Aquaculture is a fantastic business to be in, and I am surrounded by 450 skilled and dedicated employees based all over the World.”

Hans Erik Bylling wished for donations for Bylling Foundation rather than presents. Two representatives from Bylling Foundation were present at the reception to inform guests of the important work being done in the Philippines, how much each donation helps, as well as to answer questions from interested guests.

The day also entailed a short speech from Hans Erik and a song from the employees.

As of today, the visitors raised 64.000 DKR for Bylling Foundation, and the donations keep coming.

Hans Erik is grateful for the total amount of money raised: “It makes such a big difference in the Philippines, where the money go further than here. Bylling Foundation works very hard at helping the 13 boys in the house. We follow the foundation closely and can see that they are really creating results in terms of keeping the children of the street and ensuring that they get an education, so they are able to earn a living when they leave the house.”

Hans Erik is the 3rd generation of Bylling’s in the family-owned company, and 4th generation, Anders Bylling, is slowly starting to take over on some of Hans Erik’s tasks. Hans Erik does however not have any plans of retiring. Instead, he plans to handle other tasks in the company.
