Aller Aqua Academy 2026 – knowledge, development, and international cooperation

Aller Aqua Academy is an internal conference organized every two years by Aller Aqua Poland for partners operating in export markets served by the Polish company, which is part of the Aller Aqua Group.

This year’s edition of the event took place on May 12–13 in Warsaw. On the first day, participants from more than 15 countries gathered for the conference session held at the Crowne Plaza Warsaw – The HUB hotel.

The conference program focused primarily on the development of Aller Aqua Poland. Guests had the opportunity to attend a joint presentation by Vice President Zbigniew Kreft and former CEO Jacek Juchniewicz, covering the history of the Golub-Dobrzyń factory—from its early beginnings, through successive expansion phases, to recent investments and ongoing optimization of production processes.

Export Director Marcin Walczak presented the latest data on export sales, currently spanning 28 countries across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Export represents a significant share of the company’s overall sales and was therefore a key element of the Academy, demonstrating strong international cooperation—not only within the European Union—but also the efficiency and flexibility of Aller Aqua Poland’s Logistics Department. Furthermore, the continuously growing sales in eastern markets highlight Aller Aqua’s important role in developing emerging aquaculture sectors, where we provide not only high-quality feed but also expert knowledge.

The conference also featured Dr. Jesper Clausen, R&D Director of the Aller Aqua Group. His presentation focused on the breakthrough TEA concept as well as topics related to Aller Gold, a leading trout feed. The TEA (Trace Elements Adjusted) concept can be described as an updated feed formulation, containing significantly higher levels of essential trace elements than ever before—a synergy between carefully selected raw materials, advanced technology, and expert knowledge.

The lecture block also included a presentation of the Aller Aqua Fishing brand, offering groundbait pellets, delivered by Robert Idzikowski and Przemysław Rutkowski, as well as a presentation by Aller Aqua’s Uzbek distributor, Muhammadjon Arifdjanov, focusing on intensive carp farming in Uzbekistan. Participants had the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the specifics of the Uzbek market, which is primarily centered around intensive cyprinid production.

On the second day of the Academy, participants visited Opole Lubelskie, where they experienced a model example of a business combining aquaculture with gastronomy. The “Pustelnia” Fish Farm, run by Anna and Sebastian Pyć, specializes in the farming of carp, trout, and sturgeon. After the production cycle, the fish are processed on-site and then supplied directly to the “Pustelnia” Fish Inn—a restaurant offering original fish-based dishes such as trout tartare and carp choux pastries.

Part of the production is also processed into high-quality food products, including fish spreads, fish lard, and pâté. The study visit provided participants with valuable insights into modern production methods and an opportunity to exchange experiences that can be applied in their local markets.

However, Aller Aqua Academy is much more than a conference and a series of presentations. Above all, it is a platform for building relationships, exchanging knowledge, and fostering mutual support among partners from different countries. Meetings like this demonstrate that Aller Aqua’s strength lies not only in innovation and experience, but above all in its people—and in the strong, family-like culture of cooperation that has been the foundation of the company for years.
