Meet Senior Marketing Coordinator at Aller Aqua Polska, Przemysław Rutkowski

Adapting global strategy to local market reality

Role and background

At Aller Aqua, Przemysław Rutkowski works with marketing across Poland, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia, supporting around 20 markets in total. Based at Aller Aqua Polska, he coordinates marketing activities across regions with very different structures, cultures, and levels of market maturity. His role sits at the intersection of strategy, coordination, and execution, thus ensuring that Aller Aqua’s communication is consistent globally while remaining relevant to the realities of individual markets.

About the work

Przemysław’s responsibilities cover strategic marketing planning, campaign coordination, brand consistency, and close cooperation with distributors across the region. While local adaptation is handled by distribution partners, his role is to provide clear frameworks, materials, and direction that allow those partners to work effectively.

My work is about understanding markets that function very differently, but at the same time are all connected by aquaculture. It is this common denominator that makes my everyday work exciting and challenging.

A key part of his work happens beyond the desk. Przemysław regularly supports distributors at exhibitions, trade fairs, and industry events, both as an exhibitor and as on‑site support. This direct contact with partners and customers ensures that marketing decisions are grounded in real market feedback.

Markets, communication, and coordination

Working across Eastern Europe and Central Asia requires more than standardized marketing solutions. It requires an understanding of how different markets communicate, make decisions, and build trust. Przemysław works daily across languages and cultures, helping ensure smooth communication between local partners and the wider Aller Aqua organization. This includes aligning messaging, coordinating launches and campaigns, and translating global priorities into clear, usable tools for regional markets.

Consistency matters, but so does context. My role is to make sure we respect both. Each market has its own subtle features that make it unique and to be successful on that market, we must align.

Languages and cross‑cultural experience

Working across Eastern Europe and Central Asia requires more than fluent communication. It requires lived experience and cultural awareness. Przemysław has worked and lived in several regions, including Jordan, Sudan, and Western Europe, which has shaped how he approaches international cooperation and marketing coordination. Fluent in Polish, English, Arabic and Russian, he works daily across linguistic and cultural boundaries, supporting distributors and partners in markets with very different business practices, cultural background, and communication styles. This knowledge helps ensure that marketing strategies are not only consistent, but also practical and respectful of local realities.

Aller Aqua Fishing

In addition to his work with aquaculture markets, Przemysław coordinates marketing activities for Aller Aqua Fishing, supporting the brand’s strategic direction and visibility. His involvement is primarily strategic, combined with hands‑on support during events and activities together with partners and distributors.

Local engagement and community involvement

Beyond his professional role, Przemysław actively engages in local social and environmental initiatives. He takes part in activities supporting the local community, including environmental clean‑up actions such as cleaning local rivers, and regularly participates in sports events. He is also an active player in the old boys’ team of his local football club, staying closely connected to the community he lives and works in.
