Aller Aqua Zambia Limited signs Memorandum of Understanding with WorldFish

On May 31st, 2018 both parties signed the document. Both parties have hereby dedicated themselves to support and strengthen the aquaculture value chain in Zambia through R&D efforts, to bring about greater benefits for resource-poor value chain actors.

Aller Aqua Zambia has in this connection specifically dedicated themselves to increasing the availability of affordable and appropriate commercial feeds for resource-poor fish farmers (including SMEs), as well as developing and testing commercial fish feeds for extensive aquaculture systems.

This is done to enable resource-poor fish farmers/SMEs to sustainably intensify their production systems and increase productivity and profits from the sale of fish cultivated using an affordable, yet improved and appropriate feed. The MoU also seeks to develop the capacities of these resource-poor fish farmers/SMEs through the training institute located by Aller Aqua Zambia.
